Hello! Happy New Year! Today's project is one that I received at convention, and I absolutely love it! It features the Together forever stamp set and matching wheel. I love to combination of red, white, and black. I'll post the details later today, but I'm busy with my family today, so I'm a little distracted! The "merci" sentiment, from the Chic Boutique stamp set, was stamped onto a die cut piece from the Matchbox Die. If you don't have that die, any punched shape would work. Stamping the Medallion over the die cut shape and the card front adds a gorgeous effect. A piece of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon was run through the die cut piece by punching a hole in the piece.

Hello! Today's card features the new Vintage Vogue stamp set again. It is a very versatile set! The flower was inked in Pretty in Pink, stamped off once, and then stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. The sentiment was inked in Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped over the flower, then the edges of the Vanilla cardstock were sponged with Chocolate Chip.
The new Pretty In Pink Corduroy Button was attached to the new Pretty In Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon by opening the prongs, sliding the ribbon in between, then pushing the prongs through a hole in the Chocolate Chip cardstock. The new accessories in the 2010 Occasions Mini catalog are gorgeous! If you need a catalog, email me and I'll send one to you right away!
The Pretty In Pink mat was run through the Big Shot with the Texturz Plate from the Stampin' Up Backgrounds 1 set, which has 6 patterns on 3 plates. It's a bargain at $11.95!

Today's project is made with the new Vintage Vogue stamp set, coming out next week in the Occasions Mini Catalog! Ooh, I'm so excited for that catalog to go "live"! The clear mount stamps are just the best! When I saw the large flower in this stamp set, it screamed Rock & Roll Technique to me, but when I tried to roll it in the darker ink, I wasn't pleased with how it came out, and ink kept getting on the edges of the rubber. So, I pulled out my sponge daubers, which creates a much softer look. Watch the following video to see how I made this card:

The Well Scripted stamp set has a gorgeous font, and it covers many upcoming events: Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and has congratulations and birthday sentiments, too! Using the clear-mount stamps, I could see exactly where I was stamping my greeting, which was punched with the Wide Oval punch and sponged with Chocolate Chip ink.
The Polka Dot textured Impressions folder makes adding texture and interest a snap!

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. I am enjoying the day with my family and my husband's huge family in Pennsylvania. It is so much fun to be all together, and we have so much to be thankful for!
Today's card is the adorable Santa from the Just Beclause stamp set. This was a Shoebox Swap card designed by my talented sideline, Tracey Renaud. I love the crumpled red cardstock and the snippet of Sleigh Bells ribbon stapled to the card. Santa's beard and fur trim on his hat and coat were painted with the Frost White Shimmer Paint and an aquapainter.
The stamp set, ribbon, and paint are all from the Holiday Mini Catalog, which will end on January 4th. Some products in the mini will reappear in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog, but no one knows which ones, so if there is something that you love in there, you only have a few days left to order it!

I can't believe it is Christmas Eve! My family has already celebrated together at home, and now we are in Philadelphia visiting my in-laws. We'll be traveling through the new year, so my posts might be short!

The main image of this card was stamped in Pretty in Pink ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. Using the clear-mount stamps, you can place your image exactly where you want it. The circles were cut out with the Circle Scissor Plus, and the Scallop Circle was cut with the Big Shot. The 3 panels were run through the Big Shot using the new Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder. A pink rhinestone brad adds the perfect touch of bling.

This is such a sweet set, and I was sad to see that it is retiring on January 5th. In the past, Stampin' Up has had a Dormant List of stamp sets that didn't make it into the Idea Book and Catalog, but you could still buy them. Starting in January, the Dormant List will retire along with all of the stamp sets on the list. Click here to see all of the set retiring. You only have until January 5th to purchase these!
The flower was stamped in Jet Black Staz On Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and colored with blender pens and classic ink. Then I punched a Post-It note with the Wide Oval punch, placed the Post-It over my flower, and sponged Pink Pirouette inside the oval. The Thank you is from the Fresh Cuts stamps set, and it was also stamped in Staz On. A double mat of Green Galore and Pixie Pink makes it fresh and fun!
