Hello! Today's project is one that will be a make & take at a workshop this weekend. I've had several workshops with this group of women, so I wanted to show them how to color with our Stampin' Pastels this time.
The stamp from Garden from the Heart stamp set was inked in Basic Brown Ink, which is a waterproof ink, (good for watercoloring). Using a blender pen, I picked up Taken With Teal chalk and colored in the bird. After scribbling off the excess color onto my scratch paper, I then used the Pumpkin Pie Chalk. Have you used our Stampin' Pastels yet? I love that you get all 48 colors plus black, white, and gray.
Bring out the artist in yourself with our Stampin’ Pastels. You’ll be amazed at how easy you can achieve a beautiful, soft look with our pastels.
Stampin' Pastels 105542 Price: $24.95
■ Artist quality pastels in exclusive Stampin' Up! colors
■ Includes 6 applicators and an eraser
■ Oil free
■ Works well on matte-finish papers
The punched bird was made using our brand new Two-Step Bird punch. The new style of punch is awesome! Still great quality punch, but locks closed to take up less space. His body was punched from Taken With Teal cardstock, and his wing is from Sweet Pea DSP. His body was popped up on dimensionals, and his wing got even more lift with another one.
