Medallion meets Whimsical Words

Hi there! Today's card was cased from my friend, Catherine. I think this card is gorgeous, and I'm eager to play with different color combinations this week when I get back from VA. 

The Medallion stamp is one of my all-time favorites. It was inked in Sahara Sand, then I took my sponge daubers and the Bermuda Bay ink refill, and sponged the ink all around the edge of the stamp and around the center. A quick "huff" to remoisten the ink, then I stamped on Whisper White cardstock. Love it!

With All My Heart Fancy Flower Card Stepped Up

 Hello! Today's card started with the same materials as yesterday's card, but I added some extra accessories and layers to take it to the next level. Which one do you prefer? 

The Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Folder adds such a nice detail to this card, and the Pretty In Pink Epoxy Brad looks fab as the flower's center! An extra lower layer punched in Regal Rose adds definition to the flower.

Since I didn't want the little flower detail on the Thank You stamp, I colored just the part that I wanted with my Old Olive Stampin' Write marker. The pink flowers on each side are from another stamp in the set, which coordinates perfectly with our Trio Flower Punch. Since I was using the clear-mount set, I didn't need my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up next to the words. Yea!

With All My Heart Fancy Flower Card

Hi there! Today's card is one of the make & takes that we'll do at Kellie's workshop this weekend. (Hi Kellie!) I am so excited about this card... so simple and yet so cute! (If I do say so myself. LOL) 

It features the With All My Heart stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog along with that fabulous Fancy Flower Punch, which coordinates with the stamp set perfectly. Stampin' Up really makes it easy to create lots of great projects with all of their coordinating products!

That gorgeous Old Olive Satin Ribbon makes a perfect pair of leaves on the cardstock stem when tied in a simple knot. Love it!

Fold Out Mini Photo Album #2

Hello there! Today I have the other version of the Brag Book or Mini Photo Album that I promised yesterday. Isn't it cute? The one from yesterday, I made several months ago, set it aside, & forgot all about it. Then at our last demonstrator meeting, the SUpreme Stampers Soiree, this was one of our Make & Takes! How fun! This one features the With All My Heart stamp set and the gorgeous Sending Love Specialty DSP. And that awesome Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch... I am in love with that punch! I have an awesome card to show you tomorrow that I just created for my workshop on Saturday. I can't wait to show it to the workshop guests!

Fold Out Mini Photo Albums

Hello Stampers! Today I have a mini photo album to share with you. It features the Charming stamp set, which came out in the Holiday Mini Catalog. This is such a cute set, and it is perfect for decorating our new jewelry line, Simply Adorned. Have you seen the charms for necklaces and bracelets? I just got my charm and necklace yesterday, and I can't wait to decorate it!

Isn't that cute? Well, it would have been cuter if I'd put some photos inside, but you'll have to use your imagination. :-)   I plan to add some photos of my children and send it to my mom.

Oval All

Hello Stampers! Today's card is one that my downline, Tia, made for a swap for our demo meeting. I love the color combination and the simplicity of this card. It features the Oval All stamp set, which is such a great, all-around word set. 

The Large Oval Punch and Scalloped Oval Punch coordinate with the stamp set perfectly. What a sweet combination with the Chocolate Chip Patterns DSP and certainly celery cardstock!

Three Little Words

Happy Monday! I know people always dread Mondays, but I always like them. It does mean getting up earlier and dragging my children out of bed, but after I get them fed & off to school, I feel like I can finally relax, tackle my To Do List, and have some ME time. :-) We had a great weekend, I have no complaints, but I always enjoy Mondays.

Anyway, today's card is another one we did at the Stamp-A-Stack yesterday. I always have so much fun when I have stampers over, and yesterday's class was no exception. I realized that aside from my March Club class, this was my last Raleigh class. :-(  One of the hardest parts of moving is all of the "lasts" that you have to do. It's okay though, I'm looking forward to meeting all of my new stamper friends in Virginia!

Introducing Fox & Friends Pocket Card

Hello there! I hope you are having a great weekend! Today's card is a pocket card featuring Fox & Friends stamp set and Introducing stamp set, which is one that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration! I have a customer who is planning a baby shower, so I made this card to show her as an option for her invitations. I think it turned out adorable! Here is a peek at the inside:

 

Wouldn't you love to receive that in the mail? This is very easy to make. Here is a video showing how:

 

You start with a 4 1/4" x 11" card base & score it at 1 1/4" and 5 1/2". Fold card in half and fold the smaller fold back. Round corners, place 4"x 3" piece of DSP on front of card under flap, and adhere card together with Sticky Strip.

Decorate as you wish! Inside of card: the Whisper White piece is 3" x 4 3/4", and the Orchid Opulence mat is 3 1/4" x 5". So cute & easy, right?

A Flower For All Seasons

Hi there! Today's project is another one we'll be making at the Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday at my house. After I photographed it, I realized that I didn't stamp the sentiment very well, so please forgive that! :-) This card features A Flower For All Seasons stamp set, which is one that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration. I have loved this set since it came out in the previous Idea Book and Catalog, and now I have it! Yea!

The image was stamped in Staz On and then colored with my watercolor pencils. I've had them for a while, but never used them, so this was a fun new experience! After I colored, I used my Aquapainter to blend the color. Awesome! This would be great for a Mom & Me class or anytime you are stamping with children. No mixed up ink colors!

The patterned paper is from Kaleidoscope DSP. The colors are so bright & cheery!

I hope you have a great weekend! Today is my son's birthday (Happy Birthday, Aidan!) He is 9, and we are having a roller skating party this afternoon, so it should be a fun day. 

Chic Boutique En Francais

Hi there! Today's project is another card that we'll be doing at my Stamp-a-stack this weekend. It features the Chic Boutique stamp set and En Francais background stamp. As soon as I saw Chic Boutique in the Idea Book & Catalog last summer, I knew I had to have it! I lived in Paris off and on for a year right out of college (seems like 100 years ago), so the Eiffel Tower stamp has sentimental meaning to me.

The Bashful Blue circle was cut with the most awesome circle cutter around, the Circle Scissor Plus. It can cut circles in any size between 1" and 6". It is a must-have tool! It was attached on the card with dimensionals, & I used my paper snips to trim off the overhang.

The En Francais background stamp was inked in Bashful Blue & stamped on the circle, then the Eiffel Tower from Chic Boutique was inked in Not Quite Navy & stamped over the background.

A hole was punched with the Crop-a-dile mid-way across the Not Quite Navy piece, then the Bashful Blue striped ribbon was threaded through and tied in a knot on the side. This saves ribbon, & the look is the same as if you'd tied it all the way around the cardstock.

The sweet flower was punched with the Boho Blossoms punch and a Not Quite Navy brad from the Earth Elements Brads was placed in the center. 

The "merci" sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Kraft cardstock, & punched with the Modern Label punch. I can't believe I didn't love that punch when I first saw it! I use it all the time now.
