Hi there! Today's project is one that my friend & downline, Kim, made for me as a going-away present. (There has to be something good about moving! LOL!) How awesome is this? When I saw the Sale-A-Bration DSP, Welcome Neighbor, I couldn't believe it had all those houses on it right when we are moving... seemed meant to be!
Kim took the large house image on the DSP & matted it with cardstock & DSP. The whole thing measures 8 1/2 x 3 3/4. She scored the Soft Suede piece at 3 inches, and used the 1 3/4" Circle punch to make the opening for the neck of the wine (or other beverage) bottle.
She cleverly stamped right on the DSP in the sky in the most perfect sentiment... "You're never more than a thought away". Then she added a tag that says "Happiness Always". Can you believe how perfect those words are for someone who is moving away?
I am so touched my how thoughtful everyone has been with their kind words of encouragement and best wishes, and by the perfect gifts. Thank you all so much! I'm going to miss everyone here in Raleigh, and I'm so thankful that Stampin' Up has brought so many wonderful people into my life these past 2 years. Can't wait to get it going in Richmond! You stay classy, Raleigh! (You did see Anchorman, right?) :-)
