Hello from the Jersey Shore! Today is my husband's birthday, so I thought I would share the card that I made for him.
I love it! He really loves martinis so the Cheers To You stamp set was a must, and I thought the Island Oasis DSP was perfect since we are celebrating his birthday at the beach. The key to making a masculine card is using clean lines and masculine colors. The newest brown in the Stampin' Up! family is Early Espresso, & it is gorgeous! It is a deeper shade of brown than Chocolate Chip & doesn't have the reddish undertones that Choc.Chip has. I used the cardstock to mat the DSP, & the ink to stamp Happy Birthday from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
The Big Shot and the Movers & Shapers Die were used to make the Curly Label shape on the card, & I used the coordinating punch for my martini. The Antique Brass brads added the perfect finishing touch.
