I honestly can't imagine why I resisted this stamp set for so long! Greeting Card Kids has to be one of the most adorable stamp sets that Stampin' Up! has in the current Idea Book and Catalog. I finally broke down and ordered it, & I am in love!
I used my Circle Scissor Plus to cut a perfect circle out of Watercolor Paper to go inside my die cut scallop circle. The Circle Scissor Plus works best on the Glass Mat.
The stamp was inked in Staz On Ink & watercolored with Aquapainters & Classic inks. The watercolor paper makes it easy to have light and dark shaded areas.
Before attaching the circle to the scallop circle, I outlined it in Multipurpose Liquid Glue and sprinkled Silver Glass Glitter all around it. That glue takes a few minutes to dry, so I finished the rest of the card while I waited for that.
The Deck The Halls Designer Series Paper triangles were leftover from a previous project, so the design of the card was a snap!
My Paper Craft Academy club members will be making an AWESOME project with this set in December! I am so excited about it! This project will be exclusive to my club members... it won't appear anywhere else!
