I have to admit, I have mixed feelings about my baby boy turning 10 on Sunday. I am so very proud of him... he is kind, funny, loving (still loves his momma!), caring, smart, athletic (okay, I could go on and on like the proud momma that I am!) I've enjoyed every age and stage, but there is something a little sad about not having children in the single digits anymore. Where did all of the time go? I feel like I'm going to blink and Ciara will be in college & Aidan will be driving. Ack!
Today's card is for my birthday boy:
He's at that age where I have to be very careful not to give him things that he would consider "too babyish" or "little kid", so I thought the very grown up Bring on the Cake stamp set would be perfect for a 10 year old. The Celebrations DSP is perfect for any age, & the bright primary colors are great for someone who is "all boy". What do you think? Will this pass the Cool Big Kid test?
My card was inspired by the Viva La Verve sketch challenge, the Free For All Challenge on Splitcoast, & the Res-Q Challenge.
