Hello! Today's project was inspired by the Ways to Use It & Sketch Challenges over on Splitcoast. The Ways to Use it Challenge was to use the Chalkboard Technique, which I haven't done in ages, so I was excited to use it with the Just Believe Stamp Set!
Usually when I do the Chalkboard Technique, I like to stamp an image on dark cardstock & use my sponge daubers & classic inks to color it. This time though, I let my white ink dry, then used my Watercolor Pencils to color it in. I like how it turned out on the Soft Suede cardstock.
That gorgeous patterned paper is the Spice Cake DSP, which is new in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. I think it is some of the most gorgeous DSP that Stampin' Up! has ever come out with! Those colors are beautiful together!
