Best of Everything Thank You

Today I made a quick thank you card for some customers who bought some of my retired stamps. I love the Best of Everything stamp set for all occasions, especially in the warm summer months. Such a cute little bird!

This one I made with no embellishements, just stamps, ink, & paper. I wanted to feature the new In Colors. Love them!

This one I just added some ribbon & eliminated the sponging. I love clean & simple cards.

Papillon Potpourri with Doilies

Wow! I'm posting 2 days in a row! It's been a long time since I've been able to do that. :-) Once I started playing with my new Papillon Potpourri stamp set yesterday, I couldn't stop! What a great, versitile stamp set!

I also just got the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlit for the Big Shot, & I couldn't wait to try it out. It has 3 gorgeous doilies on it.

Ooh, love it!

My color combination came from the Color Coach Gumball Green card. I love it with Melon Mambo and So Saffron!

Hint for the doily dies: If your doily doesn't come out all punched out, you may need to add a layer or two of cardstock under the die to add more pressure as it runs through the Big Shot. I had to add 2 layers to mine, but then all of the pieces punched out perfectly.

Papillon Potpourri

Hello! I just returned from a week at the beach, and I am finally inspired to get in my craft room and stamp! It's been tough since my mom died, but a week away was just what I needed. And that brown Stampin' Up! box waiting for me when I got back got me so excited to play with my new goodies!

One of the first stamp sets that caught my eye in the new catalog was Papillon Potpourri and its matching punch. Whoot! Love it!

I love the bright summery colors in the Floral District DSP. I also got to play with my new Itty Bitty Banners stamp set that coordinates with the Bitty Banners Framelits. I am really loving the Framelits that coordinate with the stamp sets. Wait until you see all of the coordinating sets in the Holiday Mini Catalog!

The New Catalog is LIVE!!!

Woohoo! My favorite time of the year has to be when the new Stampin' Up! Catalog comes out! The new In Colors are so rich and gorgeous... I know you will love them! There are some amazing new stamp sets and fantastic new products for the Big Shot! Can you tell I'm excited? LOL!

Today's project features the new In Colors and one of the new stamp sets called Betsy's Blossoms. I wanted to feature as many of the stamps in the set as I could and all of the new colors, so this is what I came up with.

The bird is stamped in Midnight Muse, the leaf in Gumball Green, the big reddish flowers in Raspberry Ripple, the smaller pink flowers in Primrose Petals, and the biggest flower in Summer Starfruit, which I thumped with my Cajun Craze marker. What do you think of the new colors?
