One more!

I just had to post this final card made with the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. I die cut a mask & sponged. Love how it turned out!

Thoughts & Prayers Again!

Ohmygosh, what is going on? I had to make another sympathy card today! I really hope this is the end of the bad news for a while. 

I always use the tree image from the awesome Thoughts & Prayers stamp set, so I thought I'd try the floral image this time instead. I cased a card that I saw on Splitcoast, & here is my version:

I loved the simplicity of this layout & the use of Wisteria Wonder ink, so I kept those, but added the punched flowers & punched border, and used different cardstock & green ink. Love how it turned out.

Thoughts & Prayers

Unfortunately, today I needed to make a couple of sympathy cards. Never the most fun cards to make, but I'm always so thankful that I can just go to my stamp room & make a card rather than have to run out to the store & pick one out. 

I think that the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set is such a great sympathy set, and one of my all-time favorites of any type of stamps. That tree is just gorgeous!

I was really eager to try out the new Core'dinations Card Stock, which will be available August 1st in the new Holiday Mini Catalog. It is sandable cardstock that has a lighter inside layer, so when you emboss & sand it, you see the lighter color come through. It is so gorgous! I also got to play with the new Lacy Brocade embossing folder. So elegant!

Mojo251 Easy Events

Happy Monday! I just got back from my first visit to Maine, and I cannot get over how gorgeous it was! Perfect weather, and lots of fun with my husband's huge family. Loved it!

I'm a little slow out of the starting gate today, but I finally got the baby down & wanted to get my mojo going, so I checked out the Mojo Monday sketch. As soon as I saw it, I thought of the beautiful quilt that was on our bed in Maine, which made me think of the Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper and shabby chic style, and voila! a card was born:

This card features the always useful Easy Events stamp set, plus some brand new goodies from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog. Whoot! I love the new Window Frames Collection Framelits and the new Autumn Accents Die that has gorgous leaves! I ran the die cut leaf through the Big Shot again in an embossing folder & sponged the edges to give it dimension.

Word Play

Today's project is one that I made a few weeks ago & thought I posted, but apparently not. It features the always awesome Word Play stamp set, along with the Summer Smooches DSP & a gorgeous flower.

Apothecary Art With Doily

TGIF!!! It's been a long 2 weeks of driving my older kids back & forth to camp, and I am ready for some rest this weekend. :-)  Hopefully some stamp time too, as I just got my sneak peek box of goodies from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Whoot! You are going to LOVE all of the awesome new products in there!

Today however, I have a more seasonal card to share that features the Apothecary Art stamp set with the gorgeous Paper Doily Die. 

Ohmygoodness, this is gorgeous! (If I do say so myself. Ha!) Love the Pink Pirouette and Pool Party combo, love the sparkle on the Doily from the Champagne Mist shimmer paint, love the dainty butterfly with the even daintier pearls. This card just makes me happy.

Mojo249 Betsy's Blossoms Again!

I had another idea for this layout with the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set, so I just had to make another card!

Ooh, I just love Gumball Green, Marina Mist, and Midnight Muse together!

Instead of patterned paper, I ran the Marina Mist cardstock through the Big Shot in the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder, and I used pearls instead of brads.

MOJO249 Betsy's Blossoms

When I saw all of the panels on today's sketch over on Mojo Monday, I have to say that I was a little intimidated. I just wasn't sure where to start. Then when I turned the sketch a quarter turn, it suddenly came to me to use Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and the coordinating Floral District DSP. Perfect!

I cannot get away from using the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits with my Big Shot. It has to be my all-time favorite word set, since you can die cut the banner. Love!

FTL198 Create a Cupcake

Today I really needed an quick and easy layout, since my baby daughter was not interested in letting me stamp! So I checked out the Clean & Simple Stamping sketch, & this is what I came up with:

 

What do you think? I love this color combo of Pool Party, Regal Rose, & Rich Razzleberry. It happened on accident, but I really like the result!

The layout called for 2 embellishments where I have my hearts, and I have to admit that I was completely stumped! I tried buttons & brads, & nothing looked right. Then I tried hearts, & that worked perfectly.
