Today I have another project featuring lots of new goodies from the Occasions Mini Catalog. 

So fun!

The new Mouthwatering stamp set has 4 yummy treats, perfect for a birthday card or any project about spring or summer. The Mini Catalog also has new scented embossing powder, so we can make scratch & sniff cards! Whoot!

The Sweet Shop DSP is so adorable & coordinates with this stamp set perfectly. Other new products on this card are the new Labels Colection Framelits, which I am in love with, the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies (Lucky Limeade scallop border), and the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (on cherry).

Baby Prints for my baby girl!

Today I am being induced. I cannot believe the day is finally here! We had to be at the hospital at the crack of dawn, so hopefully Baby Girl will be here by the end of the day! Whoot!!!

When I saw the Baby Prints stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog, I immediately started imagining all of the wonderful projects I could make about my new baby, especially scrapbook pages. I can't wait to start preserving our early memories of her in a scrapbook! 

Today's card features this set. This is also a case of the project in the Mini Catalog, but I changed the colors & accessories:

Ohmygosh, I love it! The patterned paper is the new Sweet Shop DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The white polka dots are embossed, so it has a very pretty texture. I love the Wisteria Wonder & Pretty in Pink combination.

Snow Much Fun notepad

Today I have a little holiday notepad that I created for my chldren's teachers to go along with their holiday gifts. It features the Snow Much Fun stamp set and Holly Berry Bouquet DSP.

These are so easy to make! I took a pack of notepads at the office supply store & had the store cut them. Then I covered the top of the pad with patterned paper, added a magnet & decorated it, & voila! Cute little gift!

My Baby Shower Thank You Card

Hello! Boy, the day really got away from me today. I wanted to quickly post & show you the card that I finally decided to use for the thank you notes from my baby shower. It is similar to a card that I shared a couple of weeks ago, but I changed the color scheme & ribbon. I love how it turned out!

Happy Halloween!

Today, my kids are off of school for a teacher work day, so we slept late & are having a lazy morning. I love days like this! I'm even going to be a lazy stamper & share a card that I made a while back. This is a card that I saw on the internet & totally cased it, so I can take no credit for its wonderful creativity!

How stinkin' cute is that? I absolutely love all of those little owls all dressed up for trick-or-treating! For the web background, I brayered my Spiderweb embossing folder with White Craft Ink before running my black cardstock through it in the Big Shot.

SC355 CC345 Baby Bundle

Ohmygoodness. Today's card was one of those that I thought would take me 5 minutes to make, & it took over an hour! My stamping mojo is running a little slow this morning, I guess. 

Today's card was inspired by the sketch and color challenges over on Splitcoast. The color challenge was Blushing Bride, Lucky Limeade, & Regal Rose, with a bonus challenge of adding on gold embossing. Since I've been making baby shower thank you cards like crazy lately, I thought this sketch would be a cinch with the Baby Bundle stamp set. 

What do you think? I kept adding & changing things, but I think I'm happy with the way it turned out.

To make the gold mats, I stamped my Versamark ink pad all over the edges of the paper, sprinkled gold embossing powder over & applied heat. I love that effect!

Baby Bundle Thank You Card

I am getting so excited about our little baby that is on the way! On Tuesday, I had a 3D Ultrasound, and it was just like looking at a newborn baby! It was incredible.

My dear friend, Jenn, is throwing us a couples' baby shower this Saturday. I just can't believe it is already time for a shower! I decided to start making some thank you notes, so this is one option that I've come up with.

 It is sweet & simple, so I should be able to make a bunch of those pretty quickly. It is a lot of watercoloring, though!

I absolutely love that Baby Bundle stamp set! I can't wait to use it in my scrapbook for Baby Girl (still unnamed). I am so excited to scrapbook our ultrasound photos!

Yes, I still have babies on the brain. I just found out that I will be induced on December 28th, so that is all I can think about these days. Still so much work to do to get ready for her arrival!

I have wanted the Baby Bundle stamp set ever since I found out I was pregnant, & I finally broke down and got it. I love it! This card will be a perfect thank you card for my baby shower.

East Events Mojo

Happy Monday! I have really had babies on the brain lately, especially since my belly has popped & I am finally showing! This week I am half way through my pregnancy, & I feel great. I had my ultrasound this morning, & Baby Girl is doing great! Woohoo!

I've also had babies on the brain lately because I need to make several baby cards. Today's card is for my husband's coworker, who had a baby boy a few months ago. When I saw the Mojo Monday sketch, I realized that the Easy Events stamp set would be perfect for this sketch, & I could finally get that baby card made!

I ordered the Nursery Nest DSP during our awesome Buy 3 Get 1 Free DSP promotion this month, but it hasn't arrived yet, so I used the adorable letter paper from the Just Add Cake DSP. Perfect for a baby card! The sweet Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder makes a great background on this card.
