With All My Heart Fancy Flower Card Stepped Up

 Hello! Today's card started with the same materials as yesterday's card, but I added some extra accessories and layers to take it to the next level. Which one do you prefer? 

The Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Folder adds such a nice detail to this card, and the Pretty In Pink Epoxy Brad looks fab as the flower's center! An extra lower layer punched in Regal Rose adds definition to the flower.

Since I didn't want the little flower detail on the Thank You stamp, I colored just the part that I wanted with my Old Olive Stampin' Write marker. The pink flowers on each side are from another stamp in the set, which coordinates perfectly with our Trio Flower Punch. Since I was using the clear-mount set, I didn't need my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up next to the words. Yea!

Fold Out Mini Photo Album #2

Hello there! Today I have the other version of the Brag Book or Mini Photo Album that I promised yesterday. Isn't it cute? The one from yesterday, I made several months ago, set it aside, & forgot all about it. Then at our last demonstrator meeting, the SUpreme Stampers Soiree, this was one of our Make & Takes! How fun! This one features the With All My Heart stamp set and the gorgeous Sending Love Specialty DSP. And that awesome Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch... I am in love with that punch! I have an awesome card to show you tomorrow that I just created for my workshop on Saturday. I can't wait to show it to the workshop guests!

Happy Moments Stamp-A-Stack Card

Hi there! Today's card is one that we'll be doing in my All Occasions Stamp-A-Stack on Sunday, February 21st. If you are in the Raleigh, NC area, you can still sign up for the class! These colors are so cheerful! They were chosen from the Sweet Pea DSP pack. That pack has 48 sheets with 24 designs, lots of colors and patterns to choose from! I chose to work with the Taken With Teal, So Saffron, and Pumpkin Pie pieces of DSP. Thanks to Catherine for the fun design.

The cake was stamped in Staz On Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pens. It was then punched with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.

The DSP was punched with the 1 3/4" Circle and the 1 3/8" Circle punches. The were lined up across the page in a playful pattern, & the ends of the circles that overlapped the card were snipped off with my Paper Snips.

The front of the card was run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.

A snippet of Turquoise 1/4" ribbon gives the card just a dash of dimension. It was attached to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.

Very Vintage from Karin

Hello there! Today's card is one that I received in the mail yesterday from my upline's upline (My Grand Upline?) as a thank you for being in the Top 1o in sales in October in her group. I'm always honored and thrilled to receive a card from Karin, and this one is a beaut! Not only did she use the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel 3 different ways on this card, but the whole card shimmers! This is so gorgeous, and I would have never thought to design a card like this. 

The Very Vintage Wheel was inked in Basic Black and wheeled across a Real Red mat, a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock, and a Kraft butterfly made with the Big Shot and the Stampin' Up Beautiful Butterflies die.

The piece of Very Vanilla was given a pretty edge with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch, folded like a fan, and attached behind a piece of basic black cardstock that was punched with the wide-oval punch.

A piece of our new Real Red Satin Ribbon lets the base of the fan disappear and adds a dressed up touch.

The die-cut butterfly was attached to the card with a Real Red Epoxy Brad, a favorite embellishment of mine. I hoard embellishments like this, so I'm thrilled that she thought I was "brad-worthy"! (If you are "of a certain age", this might remind you of a Seinfeld episode. LOL!)

The entire red mat was spritzed with our Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. It is so shimmery and gorgeous! Did you know that the Shimmer Paint is still available, even though it isn't in the current mini catalog? It was so popular that they carried it over.

All of this on a Kraft Cardstock base. This card has Shabby Chic all over it! If you know anything about our founder, Shelli Gardner, she definitely favors the Shabby Chic style, so when I saw this card, I immediately thought of her. Love it!

Happy Moments Online Club Card #2

Hear that? No? Me neither! That silence is the sound of my children being back in school today. :-) Now, I feel bad enjoying this silence so much, as my kids are really easy when they are home. They are 9 and as of yesterday 11 (Happy Birthday, Ciara!), so they are completely able to entertain themselves and each other and let me do my thing. But it just isn't the same as when you are alone. Well, actually I have 2 movers coming today to give quotes, so I won't be alone much, but I'll enjoy what I can get!

Love it! This is an unusual color combination for me, Mellow Moss, Not Quite Navy, and Barely Banana, so I am excited!

The white layer was run through the Big Shot with my new favorite Big Shot toy, the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder. I have to restrain myself from using it on every project!

The presents from the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Happy Moments, were (of course) stamped in Black Staz On and colored in with my Stampin' Write Markers.

That precious tag was stamped with the Tiny Tags stamp set, new in the Occasions Mini Catalog, and punched with the matching Jewelry Tag Punch. I love this set and punch! The tag was adhered with a Not Quite Navy brad.

A Birthday Card, Big News, and More swaps!

 Hello! We are snowed in here in Raleigh, so I thought I would get lots of crafting done this weekend, but I was thrown a curveball. My husband has been working in Virginia since July and we've ben trying to sell our house. Well, on Friday we received 2 offers on our home and yesterday morning we signed the contract! Oh my goodness... we're really moving! I have been in full-panic mode, trying to make lists of everything that needs to be done in the next few weeks, so needless to say, I didn't make any cards! So instead, I pulled a project out that I made a while back & intended to share on my blog. 

• This card features the On Your Birthday stamp set, which is a set of 12 birthday greetings. You'll never run out of ways to say Happy Birthday with this set!
• The colors, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Soft Suede, were inspired by the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper. Those flowers are so sweet!
• I added more flowers using my Trio Flower Punch, and added a half-pearl from the Pretties Kit. Pretty! The Pretties Kit comes with white fabric flowers that you can dye with our classic ink, halfback pearls in white and cream, round pearls with holes in white and cream, clear round and teardrop beads, rhinestone brads, and hat pins. A versatile kit to embellish all of your works of heart!
• The stamp was inked with Stampin' Write markers, so I could have 2 colors on one image.

This card didn't have a name on the back, so I don't know who created it. It was made using the Well Scripted stamp set and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts and Beautiful Wings Embosslits for the Big Shot.

Aren't these cards gorgeous?  I know I've said it before, but we have such a creative team of demonstrators! 

Well, I need to return to my list-making. I feel very overwhelmed, but I'm sure it will all work out fine. We've moved several times before, so at least I know what to do. I still intend to post every day, but if I miss a day or two here & there, you'll know why. Be sure to keep checking back though, because this is my therapy and I will keep this going! Wish me luck!

Thoughts & Prayers Sympathy Card

Hello! Today's card is one that I did in a workshop not long ago, and I'm sending it to some friends who just got some bad news. I just love that tree, and it is perfect for a solemn occasion or for a cheery one. We also have that same gorgeous tree in our Definitely Decorative catalog. It comes in black or brown in 3 sizes. Have you seen our new Definitely Decor insert that just came out? Click the picture on the side bar to see all of our new vinyl home decor!

• The scallop oval was die-cut with the Big Shot and Scallop Oval Die. I ran a piece of Whisper White and So Saffron through at the same time, and I saved the "negatives" that I didn't use to use later in another project.
• The smaller scallop oval is a punch, and it coordinates perfectly with the Large Oval Punch.
• A touch of green glitter was added to the leaves with the 2-way glue pen to dress up the card.
• The DSP is from the Tall Tales collection. You'd never know it was such a cheery paper pack! This pattern suits the mood of this card perfectly.
• I colored onto the tree stamp directly with my Stampin' Write markers, which contain the same ink as our Classic Ink Pads. When coloring on the stamps, it helps to "huff" on the stamp before pressing it to the paper to remoisten the fast-drying ink.
