Today's card is a CASE of one that I saw on the internet a while back that features the Papillon Potpourri stamp set. It was done in neutrals, & I thought it would be pretty in pinks.

This card also features the Curly Cute stamp set, which is retiring June 1st. I love this word set, & will be sorry to see it go!

Label Love Masculine Card

Hi! Yesterday I shared a feminine card featuring the new Label Love stamp set and Soho Subway Designer Series Paper, & today I have a masculine version. I sometimes find it very hard to find products that work well for a masculine card, but the Soho Subway DSP is perfect!

I simply used more masculine colors and substituted brads for ribbon & voila!, a masculine card that is clean & simple! I also love the Window Frames Framelits dies that create the background for the Artisan Label punched piece.

Label Love Sneak Peek!

Whoot! All of my new sneak peek goodies from Stampin' Up! arrived this week, & I am so excited! My family had a million things going on this weekend, but I finally got a chance to play with my new stuff this afternoon.

This card features the brand new Label Love stamp set and the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper. Oh, it also had a brand new In Color, Crisp Canteloupe! Love it!

Isn't that new paper yummy? The number print is perfect for a birthday card.

I couldn't decide whether to make a masculine or feminine birthday card, so I decided to make both. This is the feminine card. Check back tomorrow to see the masculine! This DSP is so versitile; it is perfect for lots of occasions and great for masculine cards, which are sometimes hard to make. :-)

It feels like forever since I've posted a project, but I have been stamping! Sometimes I feel like I'm in a time-warp though. Ha!

I punched out the purse with the little Curly Label punch that was available as a FREE Sale-a-bration item, but it is now available for sale! Yippee! I added glitter all over it to really add some birthday bling!

Swallowtail!

Happy Sunday! When I first saw the Swallowtail stamp in the Spring Mini Catalog, I honestly did not think that I wanted it. It's pretty, but it just didn't grab me. Then my friend, Pam ordered it, and WOW! I am in love!

I wish you could see how shiny it is, but you'll have to take my word for it. I heat embossed it with Early Espresso Embossing Powder (a carry over item from the Holiay Mini Catalog), then took a sponge dauber & the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint & dabbed it all over. Stunning!

MOJO280 Carry On

Today's project was stamped yesterday for the Mojo Monday challenge, but I just didn't have enough time to post it! Oh well, here it is:

I just love that Carry On stamp set! It is so trendy right now, & the sayings can work for practically any occasion!

The cupcake is heat embossed with the Early Espresso embossing powder. Looks yummy! And I am crazy about that More Amore specialty DSP. Gorgeous!

Apothecary Art With Doily

TGIF!!! It's been a long 2 weeks of driving my older kids back & forth to camp, and I am ready for some rest this weekend. :-)  Hopefully some stamp time too, as I just got my sneak peek box of goodies from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Whoot! You are going to LOVE all of the awesome new products in there!

Today however, I have a more seasonal card to share that features the Apothecary Art stamp set with the gorgeous Paper Doily Die. 

Ohmygoodness, this is gorgeous! (If I do say so myself. Ha!) Love the Pink Pirouette and Pool Party combo, love the sparkle on the Doily from the Champagne Mist shimmer paint, love the dainty butterfly with the even daintier pearls. This card just makes me happy.

FTL198 Create a Cupcake

Today I really needed an quick and easy layout, since my baby daughter was not interested in letting me stamp! So I checked out the Clean & Simple Stamping sketch, & this is what I came up with:

 

What do you think? I love this color combo of Pool Party, Regal Rose, & Rich Razzleberry. It happened on accident, but I really like the result!

The layout called for 2 embellishments where I have my hearts, and I have to admit that I was completely stumped! I tried buttons & brads, & nothing looked right. Then I tried hearts, & that worked perfectly.

Mojo248 Apothecary Art

Happy Monday! Boy is it ever hot here, & I felt guilty sending my kids off to camp this morning. They are going to roast! However, that gives me time to get my mojo on this morning & create a new card! Whoot!

Papillon Potpourri with Doilies

Wow! I'm posting 2 days in a row! It's been a long time since I've been able to do that. :-) Once I started playing with my new Papillon Potpourri stamp set yesterday, I couldn't stop! What a great, versitile stamp set!

I also just got the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlit for the Big Shot, & I couldn't wait to try it out. It has 3 gorgeous doilies on it.

Ooh, love it!

My color combination came from the Color Coach Gumball Green card. I love it with Melon Mambo and So Saffron!

Hint for the doily dies: If your doily doesn't come out all punched out, you may need to add a layer or two of cardstock under the die to add more pressure as it runs through the Big Shot. I had to add 2 layers to mine, but then all of the pieces punched out perfectly.
