My husband is awesome!
As you may know, my family moved to Richmond, VA from Raleigh, NC 3 weeks ago, and I've been in a bit of a funk since then. I finally have my very own craft room in our new house, but I didn't have any storage. Piles of stuff have been sitting around the room, and it has been driving me crazy.
This weekend, I had my local Cards & Projects class, local Scrapbooking Class, and Scrapper's Express class in Raleigh, so I drove down on Saturday & spent the night with my bud, fellow stamper, & upline Catherine. (Hi Cath!) When I got home on Sunday night, without asking, my husband had built an entire closet of shelves in my stamp room and put everything inside! I love my husband dearly, but I did not marry him for his handyman skills. We usually have to hire someone to do most projects. But lookie at my closet:
Can you believe he did that??? I was floored. (I don't know where anything is in the closet, but that's okay. I'll find it.)
Here are more photos of my stamp room. I still have lots to do, but it looks pretty good for 3 weeks!

Yes, that is a litter box & cat cage in my room. The only negative... poor Alli cat has a nervous condition & pees on the bed anytime someone walks toward her, so she has to stay confined to a room without a bed. She prefers to be alone with me anyway, so she's happy.
So, I guess you are wondering if I am ever going to show you a project, huh? Today, I have a sneak peek of a brand new stamp set that is coming out in the Summer Mini Catalog! Woo hoo! If you would like a copy of the catalog, email your address to me & I'll send one to you right away!
The new stamp set is called Pedaling Past, and it has several vintage-looking bicycles and sentiments in the set. Catherine just got it in when I spent the night with her, so we got to make some samples while I was there! The sentiment is from another new stamp set called In A Word. It is so clever... a word is highlighted within a bigger word on each stamp. See how it really says "Our Journey"? Awesome for scrapbooking!
Can you see the gold shimmery paint splattered on the card? It is called Smooch Spritz, one of our new products that will be in the mini. I love this stuff! We will offer it in gold, silver, vanilla, and brown. I'm so excited about our new products!
The DSP is from the Sweet Pea paper pack, which is available only through the end of this month! The paper offers the perfect vintage feel for this stamp set.
