Hello! I hope you had a good day off yesterday (you did have the day off, right?) My out of town family left, my kids went bowling with a friend, so I had the day to myself to get crafty! Woo hoo! Of course I spent the day playing, and now I have lots of work to do. <sigh> Oh well.

Today's card features a stamp set in the upcoming 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog called Tiny Tags. I'll have to admit, when I first saw this set, I couldn't imagine what I would do with it, because those stamps are so tiny! Once I started playing with it though, I fell in love. It has a matching punch for the tag stamp (not used on card), and I think it will be a favorite!
Several of the 17 stamps from the set were inked in Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, or So Saffron, and punched with a 3/4" circle punch. They were lined up on a piece of Saffron Cardstock, layered on Celery, and a Pretty in Pink Satin Bow (also new in the Mini) was tied around it in a knot. All of this was placed on a Pretty in Pink card base. The heart in the center was punched with Heart to Heart punch, but we have a new heart punch coming out, too! Today I have another sneak peek from the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and a video! The stamp set featured is With All My Heart and the technique is Versamark Resist. The photo of the card is a little blown out, so the flowers don't show as well as I would like, but it is very pretty IRL.
To do Versamark Resist, you start with Glossy Cardstock and stamp your image with Versamark (a clear, sticky ink). The Versamark makes the Glossy Cardstock "resist" the ink when you brayer over your stamped images. Neat!
The tag is a die cut piece from the Matchbox Die, which is ON SALE right now during the 12 Days of Holiday Sales! Click here for all the details. If you don't have a Big Shot or the die, you could use a punch, or just cut a rectangle. The edges of my tag were sponged in Pretty in Pink Classic ink, and the Satin Ribbon is also a sneak peek from the new catty!Have a great weekend!

Hello! Today's project is another sneak peek from the Occasions Mini Catalog, and it uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set. This is one of Shelli Gardner's Signature Collection, and it is a huge favorite among demonstrators!
Teal is one of my favorite colors, but somehow I don't use it much on cards. So I was thrilled that the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper features Taken With Teal so prominently. This paper pack has 48 sheets! Normally our DSP packs have 12. You get 2 each of 24 double-sided sheets, so this pack should last even the most die-hard paper-crafter for a while! If you don't need that much paper, I will be offering a paper split, so be sure to check back here soon for more details!
A floral image was stamped in Taken with Teal across the top of the card for a subtle detail. The banner at the bottom of the card was inked in Chocolate Chip, sponged, and the banner ends were free-hand cut. The main image was stamped and sponged in Taken with Teal and popped up on dimensionals, and a strip of Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain was tied around the DSP for the finishing touch.

Happy Sunday! It was very hard not to show more sneak peeks of the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog today, but Sunday is scrapbooking day, so I'll have to restrain myself! And you'd think with the huge sale on Big Shot Dies that I would have a layout featuring some die-cuts, but I'm not that organized this weekend. Oh well!
This DSP is retired, which made me so sad. It is one of my all-time favorites, and I have several layouts featuring it. It was a Specialty DSP that had one shiny side on each double sided sheet of paper.
The tag was hand-made using my paper trimmer, and it features one of my very favorite accessories, the corduroy buttons! Love 'em! At the top right corner, a Build-a-Brad was made with a 1/2" circle of DSP, and the 1 3/8" circle punch got a workout making the border.

Hello! Today's card is another sneak peek at a brand new stamp set coming out in January in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog. It is called Garden From the Heart, and it is great for watercoloring. I used it to make a Flip Flop card, which is easy to make, but difficult to describe in words, so I made a video! Check it out:
